Intro's Tuesday Vegetarian Menu; Beachwood Inn Not Gone Yet; More

LINCOLN PARK—From tonight until chef CJ Jacobson's departure, Intro will offer a four-course vegan vegetarian menu every Tuesday. The meal will cost $50 with additional wine pairings for $25. Additionally, Jacobson, the winner of Top Chef Duels, will be joined by another Top Chef alumnus, Brooke Williamson, for a two-night collaborative dinner priced at $75 on April 14 and 15. WICKER PARK—Chicago dive bars have been disappearing at an alarming rate the past couple of years, but don't add Beachwood Inn to the pile just yet. Though the bar is up for sale, it remains open. A buyer who intends on keeping a bar at the location (no word if any changes are to be expected) has been found but not everything has been finalized yet. [DNAinfo]

EVANSTON—Davis Street Fishmarket is celebrating 30 years with 30-cent oysters on the half shell and 30-cent shrimp daily after 4:30 p.m. The restaurant, which underwent remodeling in 2006, is asking customers to reminisce about their experiences on the restaurant's website. [EaterWire]

SOUTH LOOP—Mercat a la Planxa will celebrate National Paella Day this Friday with miniature versions of their Paella Valencia (serving 4 guests for $42, 2 guests for $21, and also available in its full-size version).
