1) THE LOOP— Just Salad's initial entry into Chicago is scheduled for an April 7 arrival. The New York-based salad chain will open at 20 E. Jackson St. [EaterWire]

3) LOGAN SQUARE— Letizia's Fiore's renovations are complete and owner Fabio Sorano will host an opening party on Thursday with the official opening on Friday. They shuttered the bakery and made changes to their service offerings, adding a wine and cheese shop. They'll be open 3:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday, staying open until 11:30 p.m. on Friday and Saturday. 4) EVANSTON/THE LOOP/WEST LOOP— Freshii is expanding in the Chicago market with three new restaurants. The first is at Northwestern's Evanston campus and will open on April 15. The health-centric chain's then opening in June at 500 W. Madison St. in the same building as the Ogilvie Transportation Center.
