With the late spring arrival of Austin, Texas-based Snap Kitchen to the Chicago area, those seeking healthier food options will have a few more, Crain's first reported. With a menu focused on fast, healthy food to go, Snap Kitchen offers fresh items made daily that are under 500 calories and include options to meet a wide variety of lifestyles (vegetarian, vegan, Paleo, dairy free and more).

The three Chicago Snap Kitchen locations, the first to open outside of Texas, will be in Lakeview (621 West Diversey), Lincoln Park (1534 North Halsted) and in the Loop (233 West Adams), and more are anticipated for later this year.

To promote their forthcoming arrival to the Chicago market, Snap Kitchen is offering a free entrée to the first 10,000 people that complete this online form.
