Ancien's Cycling Lounge Opens With Food from Pecking Order's Kristine Subido

The cafe component of Ancien, the cycle shop that opened last year, is now serving food in West Town. Pecking Order chef/owner Kristine Subido has created a light menu hoping to appeal to healthy eaters.

The space craves to be a lounge for cyclists to unwind and dine. Menu items include turkey meatballs with cabbage slaw, egg foo young and roasted eggplant. The cafe will serve Dark Matter coffee, granola from Blue Sky and desserts from Bang Bang Pies. Juices, teas and other elixirs are also available for beverages, with more food offerings on the way. Subido and Ancien's Scott McIntosh wanted to created a menu that would appeal to cyclists and the general public in West Town. Check it out:
