1) BOYSTOWN—As previously reported, David Gassman has taken back control of the former Spin space (which had been turned into Whiskey Trust and Chloe's for a hot minute) and now it has been revealed that he plans to revive an old neighborhood staple: Manhole (which was shuttered before taking over the Chloe's space and then shuttered again) in part of it. Details on the second bar in the location are not yet known. If all goes well with inspections, Gassman is intending to re-open both spaces by mid-April. [Chicago Pride]
2) ROSEMONT—The Gene & Georgetti expansion into Rosemont is slated to open in mid-June. It will include a 300-capacity wedding and event space and ballroom under the same roof, The Estate, while Gene & Georgetti's second location will hold 260 guests. Representatives promise more announcements soon. [EaterWire]
