UPDATE: Pilkey's hasn't left Sixteen yet, a spokeswoman clarifies. His last day is March 9.
Original post as follows:
Dan Pilkey's on the move again, as he's left his post at Sixteen.
Pilkey spent two years at Sixteen inside the Trump International Hotel & Tower where he served as restaurant director and sommelier. A statement read that he'll pursue a Master Sommelier certification, but it's unclear where he'll land. The statement only read that Pilkey would slide into an "exciting new role with an esteemed champagne house."
Before arriving at Sixteen, he worked for a few months with Alpana Singh at Boarding House. The staff at two-Michelin-starred Sixteen will conduct a search for Pilkey's replacement.
