WICKER PARK—Furious Spoon has re-opened its doors today after being closed Saturday for a number of hours and all of Sunday due to a lack of noodles. Chef/owner Shin Thompson tweeted earlier today that he will have enough noodles for 2,000 orders this evening. [EaterWire]

PILSEN—Those interested in a preview of what Stephanie Izard has in store at her forthcoming Chinese restaurant, Duck Duck Goat, would be wise to get to Redmoon this Thursday at 7:30 p.m. (the event begins at 6:00 p.m.) The Top Chef winner will be preparing dishes that span all three of her restaurants as well as talk about her cooking inspirations. LINCOLN SQUARE—Taking a page from culinary epicenter Noma, Iliana Regan, chef/owner of Elizabeth, plans to serve ants on the restaurant's summer menu. She's also toying with the idea of incorporating cricket flour, bullfrogs and other unique proteins. [Zagat]
