1) NORTHBROOK— A spokesman says Ohio ice cream icon Graeter's is targeting the first week of May for the opening of its first Chicago-area shop at 1347 Sherman Road. They didn't respond to questions about when Graeter's will build a location in Chicago proper. [EaterWire]

2) FULTON MARKET— Construction should begin shortly on Armour & Swift, the huge meat-centric collaboration between Boka Restaurant Group and B. Hospitality Co. (Formento's) inside the Google building at 1000 W. Fulton. B. Hospitality's Philip Walters said construction will last "180 to 240" days. [EaterWire]

3) WICKER PARK— Bom Bolla, the highly-anticipated Spanish cava bar from the Pops For Champagne folks, is now slated for a May opening at 1501 N. Milwaukee Ave. [EaterWire]

4) WICKER PARK— Right next door to Bom Bolla, interior construction is underway at Jeni's Splendid Ice Cream at 1505 N. Milwaukee Ave. It's the second Chicago location for Jeni's, another Ohio ice cream import. Reps say they have no updates. [EaterWire]

5) LINCOLN SQUARE— Mash is the name for the new concept replacing Bad Dog Tavern at 4535 N. Lincoln Ave. They'll have a rotating selection of fresh seafood, burgers and house-smoked meats on the menu. It's the same Bad Dog ownership, and they plan to open in mid- to late-March. [EaterWire]
