ANDERSONVILLE—Veteran restaurateur Marty Fosse, along with four other partners, have taken over Summerdale from Jim Dragatsis and Sandeep Malhotra. Dragatsis and Malhotra had tried a number of concepts in the space before bringing Fosse in to steady things. The menu, American comfort food made from scratch, will remain the same. Fosse, who recently shuttered his Wicker Park Italian restaurant Azzurra, has three other restaurants in Andersonville besides Summerdale. [EaterWire]

RIVER NORTHRiver Roast executive chef John Hogan is giving diners a chance to sample his charcuterie for free when they buy either the roast chicken, rack of pork, whole roast fish, roast beef or roasted vegetables. The charcuterie sampler could feature wild boar and fig terrine, duck confit and foie gras terrine, duck prosciutto, rabbit mousse and more. [EaterWire]

RIVER NORTH—There's a new bar menu at Piccolo Sogno Due, including pane fritto (fried dough, Parmesan cheese, herbs, spicy tomato sauce), polpo (grilled octopus, roasted peppers, fingerling potatoes, grilled frisee, tuna sauce) and more. See the new bar menu below. [EaterWire]
