AROUND TOWN—If you've ever wanted to own a chain of ice cream shops then mark April 7 on your calendar as Creamery Restaurants will go up on the auction block. Owner William A. McEnery thinks that the chain is primed for expansion. The first shop debuted in Frankfort in 1981 and McEnery's father purchased it in 2001, expanding it to Homer Glen, Mokena, Orland Hills and more south suburban locations before selling them to his son in 2011. BUCKTOWN—Ina Pinkney, the queen of breakfast, will make recipes from her cookbook Taste Memories this Saturday, February 21 at Feast. Pinkey's cookbook will be available for purchase and she will sign copies at the free event, beginning at 9:00 a.m. [EaterWire]

RIVER NORTH—River Roast is offering a new theatre package of a whole roast chicken and bottle of wine for $50 for couples to enjoy before or after a show. The package can be customized and you are able to order other menu items as well. It's as easy as mentioning "theatre package" to your server. [EaterWire]
