The fourth iteration of Pastoral, slated for a late summer opening in Andersonville, will feature retail and dining space.
Ownership calls the new project its largest, with 3,800 square-feet inside the new location at 5212 N. Clark St. That space will be divided into sections, though it's unclear how. Ownership said they'll release more details in the coming months. Pastoral replaces Urban Orchard, a boutique grocer that closed at the end of January.
The Andersonville location will offer Pastoral's customary cheese, wine, charcuterie, bread and sandwiches. There's also a wine bar, which sounds similar to the Bar Pastoral concept in Lakeview that neighbors its original retail spot. Pastoral also has locations inside the Chicago French Market and in The Loop.
