UPTOWN— Uptown Underground will host its first show where they can legally serve booze on Friday, as the state of Illinois finally granted the venue a liquor license. They've been BYO since opening earlier this year. The burlesque theater is inside a renovated Prohibition-era speakeasy. [EaterWire]
