1) GREEKTOWN— Kingsbaker Cafe, a project from the Tadros family of Bow Truss fame, is slated to open by the end of February at 900 W. Van Buren St. Expect coffee, food and WiFi. [EaterWire]

2) NAVY PIER— DMK Burger Bar is planing a new location at Navy Pier. They're shooting for a summer opening. [Sun Times]

3) NAVY PIER— The city of Chicago granted a business permit for the India Garden chain to operate a kiosk at Navy Pier. No word on when it would open. [EaterWire]

4) BUCKTOWN— A liquor license for Leavitt Street Tavern was applied for the address at 2345 N. Leavitt St., replacing Mickey's dive bar. A couple who lives nearby, Teddy Harris and Sarah Brick, are listed as the managers, and they want to open in the spring. [EaterWire]

5) EVANSTON— An Epic Burger is planned for downtown Evanston, at 1622 Sherman Ave. It was listed on an Evanston Design and Project Review Agenda for Wednesday, without an indication of an opening date. [EaterWire]
