Just under three years into their run in Streeterville, Flour & Stone has closed, as ownership has sold the space to a new operator. In its place, Robert's Pizza Co. aims to open before winter.

Flour & Stone's owners Chris Murphy and Shawn DeAmicis confirmed the sale in an email. Their pizza spot specialized in artisan Brooklyn-style whole pies. As for the new kid on the block, Facebook photos show toppings like clams, prosciutto and sliced sausage on a variety of pizzas with puffy crusts.
Streeterville's notoriously underserved when it comes to pizza spots. It's a painful existence, so stay tuned to what Robert's will offer the neighborhood.
