Lone Wolf Unveils New Food Menu Hoping to Feed West Loop Packs

Chicagoans know Lone Wolf for their formidable line up of beers from Three Floyd Brewing Co. But now the West Loop hotspot has launched a new food menu, just in time for winter and Black Wednesday. No, it's not really substantial for a meal, but the sausages and other items are good for a snack, to complement the brews.

Regulars will remember Lone Wolf was importing savory pies all the way from Pleasant House Bakery on the South Side. Heisler Hospitality (Queen Mary, Pub Royale) phased the pies out weeks ago, and now they'll serve a selection of four Chicago-style sausages they're calling Wolfdogs. The hot dogs and Polish are Vienna beef. Snacks include a Chicago grilled cheese stuffed with American cheese and sports peppers, as well as a Scotch egg. Vegetarians have an option with the chili.
