Bad Wolf Finds a Replacement, Labriola's Stan's Donut Bar Brunch, More AM Intel

—With former owner Jonathan Ory now in Charleston, Bad Wolf Coffee's baker Val Ballado is opening Loba Pastry + Coffee in the 3422 N. Lincoln Ave. space in December, DNAinfo reports. Expect new items including chairs, sweet and savory baked goods, and more focus on coffee.

La Stanza Ristorante—the back room concept at Labriola Michigan Avenue—is now offering Sunday brunch complete with a Stan's donut bar and DIY toppings. There's also "Lobster Thermidor Benedict," kale and octopus hash, and a jazz band.

—IO Urban Roofscape chef Riley Huddleston will slide over to be the executive chef and "drink manager" at the forthcoming LondonHouse Hotel when it opens at 85 E. Wacker in the spring, Chicago magazine reports.

Forthcoming Lincoln Square pickle and chicken restaurant The Budlong revealed a menu sneak peek on its website yesterday, which includes Nashville hot chicken, commuter breakfast items such as "Spudnuts" (doughnuts made with potato flour), and a house-smoked pastrami sandwich. The diner-esque spot is slated to open in early 2016 at 4619 N. Western.

—Popular South Loop spot Spoke & Bird is working towards opening a second location, a bakery and coffee shop named The Spoke & Bird Bakehouse at 1248 W. 18th St. in Pilsen, DNAinfo reports. It could open by the end of 2015.

—mk and County Barbecue exec chef Erick Williams was victorious on the Thanksgiving episode of "Guy's Grocery Games," outlasting three opponents in Guy Fieri's Food Network show.
