If Corridor Brewery & Provisions even comes close to the success of DryHop Brewers, you'll probably want to start scoping out the photos above for a seat right now. Ownership doesn't have an opening date yet for their Southport follow-up, but Chicago beer drinkers can already see where they'll soon hoist a house-brewed pint over a plate of flatbread.
The 90-seat brewpub is long and rustic, lined with exposed brick and wooden pallettes as wall hangings. There's green banquettes and four-top tables beyond the fully-retractable front window, plenty of booths further back under a Schwinn tandem bike and opposite the beer tank-adorned bar. The space is airy, with arched 18-foot hanger-esque ceilings and a 25-seat sidewalk patio, so hope there's still some warmer days in the forecast before next spring. [UPDATE: The patio won't open at all this year, but look for it in 2016.]
Stay tuned for the official opening date and more on the Belgian-style brews and farmhouse food items. Until then, start picking which seat you'll hover over first.
