Recent nuptials are contributing to a change in the kitchen at Element Collective's KinmontDuncan Biddulph, chef of the trendy sustainable seafood restaurant, is vacating the role sometime in the next two weeks in order to move to Nashville, the restaurant group confirms.

Jared Van Camp, chef/partner at Element Collective (Old Town Social, Nellcote, Leghorn), submitted the following statement:

"After the privilege of working together over the past year, Executive Chef Duncan Biddulph will be moving on from Kinmont to re-locate to Nashville with his new wife.  Duncan's skills have been instrumental in creating and implementing Kinmont's sustainable seafood menu, and we have tremendous respect for his work. As sad as we are to see him go, with our first anniversary just around the corner, we believe this is the perfect opportunity to incorporate new, up and coming talent into this special concept. Biddulph is an accomplished chef and we wish him nothing but the best in his new ventures.  Stay tuned for a forthcoming announcement covering the details of Duncan's successor."

Kinmont opened just over a year ago in the former Zealous space on Superior with Biddulph, a former chef at Rootstock and a Lula Cafe vet, helming the kitchen. Stay tuned to see who takes his place and if there are any menu changes in the works.
