LOGAN SQUARE—To celebrate their fifth anniversary, Longman & Eagle are holding an open house this coming Tuesday from 5:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m., with free wild boar sliders, "baby" Stiegls, and Negroni di Aguila cocktails. The restaurant also teases the possibility of free Cabin Still whiskey and Old Milwaukee in cans to boot. You won't be able to order off of the dinner menu, but you can get bar and snack menu items. MAGNIFICENT MILE—According to ownership, lobby construction at the John Hancock Center is causing lost revenue in the amount of $1 million for Signature Room at the 95th and they have taken steps to sue its landlord. They allege that a makeshift wall blocks the elevators to the restaurant and bar, causing congestion and confusion. The wall was put up in December 2013, but no work has begun and the owners have not been told when it will. [DNAinfo]
