More Chefs Announced for Ramenfest; Choucroute Dinner Thursday at TÊTE; More

WEST LOOP—A number of local chefs have been added to the inaugural lineup of Bill Kim's Ramenfest 2014 being held on November 8 at BellyQ. Smoque BBQ's Barry Sorkin, A10's John Vermiglio, Piccolo Sogno's Tony Priolo, and a whole lot more will be cooking up their version of ramen. A few chef spots have yet to be filled and tickets, which are $45 (and include access to all of the ramen at the festival), are on sale now. [Tribune]

WEST LOOP—Thursday's the day for TÊTE Charcuterie's second choucroute dinner and Bohemian House Chicago's chef Jimmy Papadopoulos will be participating. In addition to the beer, there will be plenty of food to be had, including a whole prepared pig each from Sunda and Frontier for the VIP guests.
