An Arizona-based health-food restaurant chain has its sights on River North. True Food Kitchen, a small chain with nine locations in locales west, south, and southeast, is planning to open its first in Chicago at State and Erie, according to Chicago Real Estate Daily. The restaurant will be part of a new development and opening timeframe is currently unknown.
Other True Food Kitchen locations serve casual, often vegetarian-friendly food, cocktails, and juices, spanning different cuisines at all three meals. Dishes include panang curry, "street food tacos," quinoa burgers and turkey lasagna. Eater has reached out for more information; stay tuned.
