Small Bar Celebrates Ten Years; Oyster Fests Galore; More

WICKER PARK—Small Bar will celebrate its tenth anniversary on Saturday with an All-U-Can-Eat Picnic & Beer Tapping from 3 p.m. until closing. For $25, you'll get a beer flight and all the barbecue you want followed by a Beer Swillin' House Party afterwards featuring DJs and drink specials. [Chicagoist]

ROSCOE VILLAGE / WEST TOWN—Oyster lovers are going to have a lot to enjoy in the coming weeks. First up is Oyster Fest this Saturday featuring plenty of bivalves courtesy of Village Tap Bar & Grill and live entertainment. Then the 26th Annual Oyster Fest Block Party takes place on Friday, Sept. 26 and will offer attendees 15,000 fresh oysters alongside food from Shaw's Crab House, beer from Goose Island and live music. LAKEVIEW—5 Rabbit and Heritage Bicycles are teaming up for Tonteria, a pop-up dinner series. The first one will take place on Sept. 10 from 8-10 p.m. at Heritage Bicycles (2959 N. Lincoln) and focus on ceviches paired with beers. Tickets are $45. [EaterWire]

UKRAINIAN VILLAGE—Roots will host a "Let's Drink Beer & Eat Pizza: The Ten" event featuring tappings from Three Floyds and Pipeworks starting at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 9. Guests mentioning "The Ten" to their server or bartender during the event will also receive 20% off their pizzas. [EaterWire]
