MILLENNIUM PARK—Hamburger Hop, the kickoff to this past weekend's Chicago Gourmet, crowned its victors in both judges (Good Stuff Eatery's Prez Obama Burger) and people's choice (River Roast's Tête de Tête burger) categories. Opening its first Chicago location this fall somewhere on Wabash in the Loop, Good Stuff Eatery's Spike Mendelsohn was still rejoicing the next day at his "Top Chef" demo, stating that he and his crew were out all night celebrating.
