LINCOLN PARK—Fans of Jason Vincent's output at Nightwood have Lee Wolen to thank for a one-night-only event on October 21 at Boka. They're joining forces on a vegetable-centric dinner with Genesis Growers that's kicking off Wolen's series highlighting local vegetables. Tickets are $85 per person, with an optional $40 wine pairing or $100 reserve wine pairing. Contact Boka for reservations. [EaterWire]

LOOP—Buildout has begun on the sixth location of local Mediterranean chain Mezza at 141 W. Jackson. The fast casual concept offers takes on traditional Middle Eastern recipes and the new space will feature an in-house baking facility for pita breads as well as an updated menu. Ownership is predicting a mid-October opening. [EaterWire]

RIVER NORTH—Antioxidants abound in River North thanks to the second location of the HI-VIBE Superfood Juicery that opened at 160 W. Kinzie last week. The menu features organic cold-pressed smoothies and green juices with names such as the "Get Right," "Green Envy," and "Dandy Detox." Look for white platinum quartz counters and walls covered in a custom Andy Warhol neon green camouflage print, and juice cleanses will begin in late September. [EaterWire]
