Look Inside Chicago's Newest Brewpub, Opening Today in the South Loop

After a couple of false starts, and a soft opening this past weekend, Vice District Brewing Co. is officially opening its doors today at 4:00 PM in the South Loop. As a way to both introduce themselves to the neighborhood and to "pardon their dust," owners Curtis Tarver II and Quintin Cole gave out free samples to guests this weekend. You can get a good look inside the space in the photos below.

The very sparse, industrial space features seating at the bar, at table tops and at communal benches. Bag hooks and charging stations are special treats for guests at the bar.

Vice District Brewing Co. is opening with five selections on tap. Habitual, a dark Cascadian ale; Everleigh, an English style special bitter; a porter dubbed South Town Small; a blonde ale named Pleasure Trip; and an IPA christened Initiation.

Though they will serve no food at Vice District Brewing Co., the owners encourage ordering food to be delivered from area restaurants. They will also welcome food trucks to park in front to feed guests as well.
