Sick of waiting in epic lines at Fat Rice? Now you might not have to—if you book in advance and don't mind off-peak seatings. The beloved Macau-themed restaurant in Logan Square announced late last night that its now taking reservations for a portion of the dining room, while still saving space for walk-ins, for both dinner and brunch services.

Fat Rice is already on OpenTable and seatings are already going fast, as prime slots for the foreseeable future are gone or were never listed. Act fast and book in advance.

Fat Rice co-owners Abraham Conlon and Adrienne Lo submitted a statement/clarification/press release about the reservations:

Conlon and Lo note that opening reservations outside of peak hours during brunch and dinner service is a decision they're pleased to initiate, and was a direct response to requests from their loyal customer base.

"When our diners talk, we listen. Our dining room is small, and that's part of the charm of the Fat Rice experience, but we've always wanted to find a way for people to plan ahead, to know they can bring a friend in from out of town, or to share a special occasion with us without worrying about a wait at the door," says Conlon. Reservations can now be made through eatfatrice.com.
