RIVER WEST—Cy's King Crab Oyster Bar & Grill, the relocated King Crab Tavern, officially opened for business yesterday in the former Red Canary space on Milwaukee Avenue after 33 years in Lincoln Park. Look for the same menu as the original but it's BYOB for now. [EaterWire]

OAK BROOK—A new Spanish spot, El Tapeo, opened on Monday in the Le Meridien hotel at 2100 Spring Road in Oak Brook Center. There's a 58-seat restaurant, a separate bar and lounge, and a menu of tapas-style small plates, entrees, and cocktails. [EaterWire]
