Batali and Kahan Head Up Taste Talks Chicago in October

Chicago is getting its first Taste Talks food conference this October 3 — 5. Presented by Mario Batali and curated by Paul Kahan, the event will host a series of panels discussing food from some of the biggest names in the industry.

Besides Batali and Kahan (who is also the event's master of ceremonies), other participants include Rick Bayless, Marc Vetri, Danny Bowien, Jason Hammel, Amanda Cohen and more.

Events and panels will be held at Eataly, Open Secret Studios and Palmer Square. Taste Talks Chicago will boast a "Mother of Pearl" dinner held at Kinmont, an all-star barbecue, as well as a secret pop-up dinner with Trenchermen's Pat Sheerin.
