LINCOLN PARK—Only three months after David Wang took over for consulting chef Michael Taus at Coppervine, the restaurant has a new executive chef in Chip Barnes. Barnes, who first joined the restaurant this summer, previously worked at Moto and The Bad Apple. During his years at Moto, holding both front and back of house positions, Barnes achieved a sommelier certification from the Court of Masters. [EaterWire]
LINCOLN PARK—The Peasantry has named Michael Reid as their new chef de cuisine. The still temporarily closed restaurant (it's expected to reopen in early September) will feature new dishes from Reid, who has spent time in the kitchens of Alinea and Boka. [EaterWire]
OAK PARK—Steve Chiappetti has been announced as a chef/partner in suburban Marion Street Market. The chef has already revamped the dinner menu at the Market's bistro, which you can view in full below. [EaterWire]
