BERWYN—White Sox Hall of Fame slugger Frank Thomas held a news conference and ceremonial groundbreaking today for Big Hurt Brewhouse, his upcoming suburban bar and restaurant that may be inside a bank vault, according to the photo above. Thomas expects it to open in a month, says it will serve burgers, barbecue and five types of Big Hurt Beer which won't be brewed on site. [Tribune]
