It's nearly time for RPM Italian's steak sibling to enter the River North scene. In the works for more than two years, the Rancics and Melmans have set an opening date for RPM Steak—tomorrow. Reservations are available now via the restaurant's main line: 312-284-4990.
As previously reported, RPM Steak, with chef Doug Psaltis spearheading the food, Paul McGee masterminding the cocktails and Richard Hanauer as head sommelier, aims to be different than other steakhouses by offering steaks sourced from a variety of places and cooked a variety of ways alongside an array of vegetable and fish dishes, served in a sleek yet "old fashioned" space.
