LINCOLN SQUARE—42 Degrees N Latitude, on the prominent corner of Lincoln Avenue and Sunnyside, is now Gideon Welles Craft Beer Bar & Kitchen. Roger Butterfield of Wilmette catering company Butterfield Kitchen purchased the restaurant and quickly turned it around, naming it after the adjacent Welles Park as well as Abraham Lincoln's Secretary of the Navy, Gideon Welles. It serves "elevated bar food" and craft beer; check out the dinner, brunch, and tap menus below. [EaterWire]

OLD TOWN—A new juice bar, Real Good Juice Co., has sprung up on 1647 N. Wells. Look for an array of organic juices using locally-grown ingredients from "juice chef" Gabe Lava. [EaterWire]

WICKER PARK—The Hat, a Chicago street food spot across the street from (and owned by) Hollywood Grill, is now open at 1604 W. North. It serves cheap and greasy staples such as hot dogs, gyros, sausages and fries until the wee hours. [WPBIG]
