Today's the day that Rick Bayless' tortas, Mexican hot chocolate, and guacamole bar finally head northwest to Wicker Park. The menus for the new, larger Xoco, which you can read below, are nearly identical to the original in River North—with a few important additions.
While Xoco River North serves breakfast daily, Xoco Wicker Park, which opens at 11 a.m. on weekdays, serves weekend brunch. Items include two types of chilaquiles, two egg (huevos) dishes, French toast and fried plantains. There's also an expanded snack selection for lunch and dinner, including three types of tostadas. And while Xoco River North serves alcohol, the full bar in Wicker Park features 17 (mostly) craft beers on tap, such as the 5 Rabbit Paleta Guava, as well as three draft cocktails.
