Azzurra Partner Planning Poutine and Barbecue Spot for That Logan Square Block

Logan Square is getting some poutine and barbecue—in one restaurant on that exploding block of 2300 N Milwaukee. An investment group run by Ron DiNella (Azzurra and the upcoming Cheesie's Wicker Park) is planning to open Q-Tine in the former home of Chicken Run just north of Revolution Brewing. They're shooting for a fall opening.

DiNella declines to give many details at this time, but he did submit a statement saying, in part, that his partners include "a Montreal native with poutine in his DNA" and "a BBQ soul man from New England" (Gregory Morton), as well as terming it the "first location." The group applied for a liquor license in June, so also expect booze. Stay tuned.
