Look Inside Owen + Alchemy, Logan Square's Upcoming Temple of Juice

The time is nearing to get a taste of the chef-driven juice bar, Owen + Alchemy from Element Collective and Anne Owen, coming to that very hot block in Logan Square. Though an opening date has yet to be confirmed (it's expected to debut later this month), the space itself is finished and you can get a look at it (and the colorful bottles of juice they'll be serving) in the photos below.

The look and feel is high-end with a bit of a gothic feel, suggesting London in the late-eighteenth century. There's a very large, compelling symbol against the wall to the shop's left that is dubbed the "alchemic wheel," designed by Potluck Creative. At the counter (and on shelving on another part of a wall) are herbal blends (featuring names describing they're desired effect — calm, digest, immunity, more) created by the on-staff herbalist Giselle Wasfie.

It's a small space, so, while customers have a chance to drink their juices, milks, shakes and smoothies (as well as eat salads and bowls filled with fresh, tasty and healthy ingredients), Owen + Alchemy is more of a "to go" spot, than one to stop and linger. Read the updated menu below.
