RIVER NORTH—Reverie, the Asian lounge from Rodelio Aglibot, local sportscasters and more, is opening its doors today. The menu, which you can read below, features a variety of elevated bar items (burgers, nachos) and includes a list of sushi rolls that play off of hit song titles ("True Crab California," "Purple Rev…Purple Rev"). There's also an entrée of Korean kalbi-inspired slow roasted beef dubbed "Yabba Dabba Doo" (the Food Buddha must be a big Flintstones fan). Click to look over the space in all its glory. [EaterWire]
STREETERVILLE—Do-Rite Donuts and Chicken opened for business yesterday. Now Chicagoans have another spot to get Jeff Mahin and Francis Brennan's doughnuts, along with breakfast and fried chicken sandwiches, which are unique to the Streeterville location. [EaterWire]
LINCOLN PARK—Menchie's, the international, self-serve frozen yogurt chain, opened its first city of Chicago location in the Riverpoint Center on Wednesday. The location will host a seven-day grand opening starting tomorrow that includes a free 8 oz. cup of frozen yogurt. [EaterWire]
EVANSTON—Treble-Maker Grill at music venue 27 Live debuts this evening. The menu, from veterans Charles Andersson (Butter) and Joe Moore (Marigold), features a variety of American staples including burgers, pan-roasted half-chicken, as well as in-house charcuterie and sausages. [Chicago Mag]
