It's almost time for the "impractical idea" of an Asian lounge, restaurant and sports bar from chef Rodelio Aglibot, the people behind Red Ivy and Grand Tour, and an investment team of sportscasters to open. Reverie, the two-floor spot in the former Brewstone Beer Company space, opens Friday in the section of west River North they're calling the "East Bank District."
The space has a mostly sleek, modern and clubby feel. Most of the seating skews orange and yellow under subdued lighting, while wood is mostly the medium of choice for the walls and exposed beams. Many TVs will focus on sports or graphic displays of underwater scenes. Dining areas and bars fill the the first floor and a private event space and lounge sits upstairs.
Take a look around Reverie below and stay tuned for Aglibot's food menu as well as the beverage menu that features cocktails by Benjamin Newby.
