The Roots Of American Food Conference in September; The Northman Previews; More

THE LOOP—The Roots of American Food, a new chef / food conference coming September 7 and 8 to the Wyndham Grand Hotel, will feature local chefs Paul Kahan, Dave Beran and Michael Laiskonis (L2O) along with acclaimed chefs and speakers from all parts of the country. NORTHCENTER—Check out two previews for The Northman (set to open this fall), the upcoming cider bar from the folks behind Fountainhead, August 11 and 12. Each pop-up dinner event (both at 7:00 p.m.) will feature three or so courses, including homemade charcuterie and rabbit and prosciutto roulade.
