That new concept for the Grass Fed space is not only being revealed, but it will reportedly open for business in short order. The LM Restaurant Group will unveil Café Crème in the former steak spot in Bucktown next week, according to Crain's.
LM's Nicole Outrequin Quassier and Stephan Quassier have tapped Matt DuBois (EL Ideas) to craft the French-tinged menu which will feature salads, sandwiches, entrees and a bakery component. The space holds 80 guests total, including 20 in the back patio, and will be open for breakfast and lunch hours next week.
LM's Troquet in Ravenswood was recently confirmed to have closed. The group also owns Brasserie by LM, (which Nicole says is unaffected by the possible sale of the Essex Inn), Bistronomic and Troquet in River North.
