A little over nine months since first floating the desire to bring his Good Stuff Eatery to Chicago, Spike Mendelsohn's plan is now taking shape. According to Zagat, Mendelsohn has signed a lease in the Loop area (South Wabash between Madison and Monroe Streets) for his burger joint, but an opening date has not yet been revealed.
Mendelsohn, a contestant on "Top Chef" season four (which took place in Chicago), currently has three Good Stuff Eatery locations. The Chicago location will be the first that Mendelsohn and his family will not be owner-operators of. Stay tuned for more information as it develops.
