As reported a few weeks ago, Spencer's Jolly Posh moved its British eatery and grocery to a larger space (1,400 square-feet) and, starting June 10, will be offering both lunch and afternoon tea service. Nick Spencer's decision to move from the former Irving Park Road location to the former Frida's space will give customers a lot more options.
The grocery aspect still stocks an array of packaged and refrigerated items, but the new and improved Spencer's now offers seating indoors for 35, with an additional 18 seats on the patio. "And parking is easier," Spencer says, adding, "everything we've been dreaming about will become a reality" at the new location.
The full menus for lunch and afternoon tea (which is $19 per person) are below and Spencer is planning to launch dinner service on July 1. The new location is serving beer, wine and liquor and will also serve brunch on the weekends.
