The Homemade Pizza Co. chain is no more. The Chicago-based take-and-bake pizza company closed all of its locations on Friday with little notice, Crain's reported first. All of its websites and social media accounts are now kaput.
Nearly 40 locations were open at the company's peak, which was founded in 1997, including outposts in Minneapolis, New York, and D.C. The chain's closing, which was foreshadowed by the closing of a few locations in the last couple years, leaves many available storefronts and employees out of work.
