MICHIGAN CITY, IN—TMIP, the upcoming literal farm-to-table restaurant from Brandon Baltzley, is on target for a July 3 opening. The restaurant will feature lunch and dinner service featuring the same two 20-course tasting menus (one of which will be vegan) that can be seen in full here. Guests receive a personal tour of the surrounding farm and complimentary house-made wine and beer with their meals, but it's also BYOB. [-ECHI-]

GOLD COAST—Chicago is getting its first Fig & Olive on June 28, a 10,000 square-foot, three-level Mediterranean concept that is poised to hit the Gold Coast. Chef Pascal Lorange is heading up the kitchen with a menu that centers around olive oil and is influenced by areas of France, Italy and Spain. [-ECHI-]

LAKEVIEW—The beer café Beermiscuous is also poised to open on June 28, and will feature a rotating selection of more than 300 craft beers, half sourced from Chicago and the Midwest, and "beeristas" to serve them. It holds 99 guests on two floors. [-ECHI-]
