RIVER NORTH—Tanta will kick off Sunday brunch service on Mother's Day. The menu features a chicharron waffle, tiraditos (shrimp, octopus, avocado and rocoto-rhubarb leche de tigre), and a pisco Bloody Mary.
MAGNIFICENT MILE—Sophie's at Saks is also choosing Mother's Day to launch brunch. There's crab cake benedict, steak and eggs with poblano chimichurri, and the requisite mimosas and bellinis.
RIVER NORTH—Kinmont began serving brunch this past weekend. Chef Duncan Biddulph is cooking crab souffle, fried oyster omelet, parker house roll bread pudding, and more.
LAKEVIEW—New chef Brooks Hart recently launched an all-new brunch menu at Bar Pastoral. There's chicken and bacon and cheddar waffles, grilled cheese and tomato soup, and more on his menu.
RIVER NORTH—SideDoor now has weekend brunch on the docket. Chicken fried prime rib and "The Deadbolt" (hash browns, hamburger patty, cheese curds, sunnyside up eggs and Tabasco Bordelaise) are among the menu items.
