More than seven months have passed since the sit-down Bombay Spice next to Roka Akor closed. And while the team originally hoped to open something new in two or three months, word is finally trickling in about what will open in its wake.
While many details are still under wraps, it's now known that the new concept will be a wine bar named Enolo. It will also serve food at lunch and dinner, as well as craft beer and "a diversified beverage program." JNK Concepts is planning to open it before summer.
Back in September, director of marketing Felipe Ospina promised that the new concept would be "a little more hip, a little more sexy, a little more River North." Stay tuned for more details on what's opening on one of the busiest dining and nightlife stretches in Chicago.
