GOLD COAST—Brian Beverly, who was sous under former chef Nick Lacasse, is the latest new chef at The Drawing Room. He replaces Tommy Sheean, who only held the position since December, and departed because "he didn't impress us because he didn't fulfill his commitment to us," according to partner Jay Runnfeldt. Beverly, who was most recently a sous at Bistro Campagne, is working on menu changes but they won't be in place for a couple of weeks.
MULTIPLE LOCATIONS—Kevin Hickey, who recently opened Bottlefork with Rockit Ranch, is now the company's director of food and beverage and oversees the food at all their restaurants. This also means that his upcoming Bridgeport restaurant, Duck Inn, will be under the Rockit Ranch umbrella.
MULTIPLE LOCATIONS—DineAmic Group corporate chef David Blonsky has left that position in order to open his own restaurant in South Florida. He oversaw the openings of Bull & Bear, Public House and Siena Tavern during his six-year stint and was involved in the planning of their upcoming projects. There's no word yet on who will replace him.
