LOGAN SQUARE—With one newish restaurant open (Dusek's) and another on the immediate horizon (The Promontory), executive chef/partner Jared Wentworth has promoted Matthew Kerney to chef de cuisine of Longman & Eagle. Kerney, previously of Schwa and Hubbard Inn, has already added new dishes, such as a fried chicken roulade. [EaterWire]

LINCOLN PARK—It must really be spring because the outdoor portion of the Green City Market is reopening tomorrow at 7 a.m. Chefs Carrie Nahabedian and Sarah Stegner will conduct a cooking demonstration at 10:30 a.m. using produce sourced from the market.
