Expect many more Doughnut Vault locations to hit town soon. Brendan Sodikoff, who was at the forefront of the local doughnut boom when he opened Doughnut Vault next to Gilt Bar in 2011, is planning to open eight to 12 more beginning later this year, Crain's reports. Only two possible locations are confirmed as of now: in the Google building that will also house the Boka/Bristol steakhouse (1000 W. Fulton) and at 111 N. Canal.

The news comes on the heels of the Do-Rite expansion heading to Streeterville. Multiple Glazed & Infused shops, as well as Firecakes and Stan's Donuts, have sprung up since Doughnut Vault opened to massive praise and massive lines.
