Japonais Opens Remodeled Lounge; Smoke Daddy's 20th Birthday; More

RIVER NORTH—The last facet of Masaharu Morimoto's reboot of Japonais is opening tonight. Now dubbed "The Blue Room," the lounge and riverwalk now features new decor, a new cocktail list (including the "Serenity" with house made lychee-cello, nigori sake, grapefruit and rose water) and a new food menu.
