Dollop Powered by Metropolis Coming to South Loop

Popular Chicago coffee shop Dollop Coffee Company will once again team up with Metropolis Coffee Company for Dollop Powered by Metropolis, a new spot inside the Fisher Building in the South Loop. Scheduled to open in late May or early June, this will be the fifth Dollop in Chicago; the four other locations already exclusively serve Metropolis Coffee as well. In addition to the beverage menu, the shop will offer a full hot/cold, sweet/savory menu created by Paula Haney of Hoosier Mama Pie Company.

This also won't be the first collaboration between Dollop and Hoosier Mama Pie, as the two have worked together in the past on a location in Evanston. The food menu will feature pastries and breakfast sandwiches in the morning, while deli sandwiches and pies will be available all day. The bar will cater to those in a hurry with a "fast" line for to-go orders, and other amenities include a Wi-Fi enabled lounge.
